Mom said that it was my turn to write in the journal, so here I am. I think she’s really tired from getting up every morning at 3:00 AM to hook up my IV so I can get some better sleep. The PICC line was keeping me from sleeping, but we thought that I would be done with it soon so we toughed it out. Now that it looks like I’ll have it for awhile longer we decided to split up the hours that it runs so I can sleep at night. I’m feeling better without getting up so much at night. I’m putting on some serious weight too since I can snack more during the day. I’m up over 90 pounds now. Pretty cool. I won’t have to have a booster seat for my driver’s test next month.

Still, the whole PICC line for a couple more months pretty much stinks. It makes me cold and clammy and slows me down. You know I don’t really remember my first 5 years of my life, so I only remember the last 10 and I’ve been in pain and nauseous for a year and a half. Anyway, basically about 15% of my life I’ve been in pain and nauseous. And the rest I really couldn’t eat. Crazy. And crazy that I can still do math after not going to school for so long. Ha.

Hopefully I’ll be off soon, what I really want for Christmas is no PICC line.
