Vicki: Thinking of you throughout each day and prayers at night. Your description of the decision for Phil to go on Safari yanked at my heart. That was a tough one. Beautifully written too. Hope today is bringing more strength and good feelings about heading home in a few days.

Vicki, my heart pours out for you! I am amazed at your strength as well as your family’s in what seems like an unending test of courage, patience and trusting your instincts. Yet through it all, you find the most captivating and eloquent words to keep everyone informed rather than us worrying and guessing about your real situation. You are truly an amazing author!
Although we are continents apart, please feel our love and prayers for you to recover and return home quickly. We miss you and want to welcome you back home!
All our love,

DITTO what everyone else put–MAN–can you WRITE! You are so eloquent with your words during a crazy situation…I hope the healing process if speedy for you–and let me know when you’re home so I can hug you & bring dinner by. Wow, was I confused with the info that was sent and didn’t realize that it was YOU that was having the medical emergency, but now that I know I want you to know that you as well have been in our prayers and thoughts, so hopefully things are going well now and that you are much better and will soon be up and around. I too want to be able to read your book, so am anxious to do that. You have all been on such a roller coaster for so long that it’s time that things settled down for all of you. Is Kevin any better or is he still struggling with stomach issues. Can’t believe what you all have been through, but guess the saying, that the good Lord taps those who are strong and can endure the stress, but my goodness you have had more than your share. May you know we care and send our love, prayers and moral support to get you through this.

I can’t believe that as you lie in pain a continent away, you’re writing me notes! — in addition to the beautiful, scary account of your own situation. Bob Seltzer gave me a sign last year that I should pass along to you. Its a saying from Mother Theresa: I know God won’t give me more than I can handle. I just wish he didn’t trust me so much!
You and your family have endured too much. I hope you can continue to be your own vigilant advocate, that you get good care, and that you can come home soon!!
with love and prayers,

Vic & Jeff,
Thinking of you this morning and relizing that the time difference is making it difficult to communicate. Day is night where you are and the opposite for us.
Sending you warm wishes for rest and comfort. I am so glad that Jeff is with you and that you are no longer in the hospital.
Keep advocating for yourself, as i am sure you will and I will be keeping you close to my heart as you prepare for the long journey home.
As we both look ahead to turning 50 maybe that trip to the spa is sounding better and better.
happy mothers day…

Indeed you’ll need to write another book about your experience, if indeed you can call it that, but in reality, the things you are writing, as unbelieveable and quite frankly ‘scary’ to say the least, not only for you, but the level of care. Guess we don’t know how fortunate we are in the USA to have such great care, but we may not always be so fortunate, so indeed we hope that you’ll continue to be able to execute your ‘getting out of the hospital’ plan and get back with your group. Indeed everyone must just be worried sick about you but you know the way things should be and are not afraid to let your ‘voice’ be heard, so hang in there and things should improve for you.
Know our thoughts, love and prayers are with you and we send our best. Fondly, FRank & Katherine Campana

Glad things seem to be turning around at long last! All you are missing here is more snow and cold. Even so Cooie still enjoys being outside. Your return date is most fitting, it is Mothers Day. Everyone
here is looking forward to the event, that is if you are sure you are up to the travel. Love you and God bless you. Love you. Dad and Mom
