Woohoo, you are home! So who is Booker T.? I do not recognize this puppy name. Did you get a puppy? What kind if so? Hope you started figuring out your 9th grade schedule. Before you know it you will be in classes with your friends!!!! Hang in there Kevin and know that we are thinking about you every day!

Kevin and all the Whitings,
Glad to here that things are progressing well, as I was confident that they would. When you have litttle else that you can do but sit and think about getting better, the time goes by very slowly. Now that you get out and about some, I am sure that very soon this will all be just a bad memory (with a really cool scar :-).

Hi Whitings, Gosh it’s quiet here at 2 Jct. We miss sipping smoothies, watching Scrubs and The Office, rubbing Cooie’s belly, the 7:09 A M sound of the car motor, boom box, and garage door, the run for the yellow school bus, sitting in the wheel chair when we got our turn, but most of all, we miss you all immensely. Love you, Grammie and Papa

Boy what a journey it has been for you. I’m just getting up to speed on it all. What a brave young man you are – to go through what you are at such a young age. I am sending you much love and kind thoughts. It sounds like you are on the road to recovery. Thank goodness for that. All my best to you and your family. I look forward to hearing all about your recovery and next time you come to Seattle you can teach Carter (he’s 6 and just started soccer this year) a few moves!

May you keep faith in nature and trust that this awful “season” will indeed gradually yield a brand new season of Kevin’s life. I’m looking forward to hearing about the gradual return of smiles and energy and soccer games!
Blessings to all the family,

Thankyou for the updates. I read each one as fast as you type them………….. hoping it’s the one with the great great news of recovery! You are such a good writer. You make us feel as if we are there with you. I feel your pain and worry and life changing experiences…….. say a prayer for your good family, with faith that tomorrow will be a brighter day. Bless you! And, thankyou for letting us peek into your life this year. I have learned so much. Love, Sherrie Stephens (one of many neighbors who are watching and caring and praying)
