Woof. Mom and I watched our next President accept the nomination tonight. I sat on her lap because she said it was important. Really, I just wanted to take my new chew toy up and nibble on the bed, but she kept holding me.
Mom wishes you were at TMIS.
Anyway, it’s late. . . almost 11:15 pm. Mom has to be at school at 7:00 and we have to take our walk, so I have to say “goodnight.”
Oh, by-the-way, Lauren, from the Ceramics Studio, gave mom a bowl you made. The colors are great. It’s in the backseat of our car.
See you soon, Kev.

Hang tough, you’re on the homestretch of a very long journey and the end is in sight. And although it’s not a five star hotel, you are in very good hands at Primary’s – I remember living there when both Julia and Ben. You couldn’t ask for better doctors and support staff. I met your Grandma and Grandpa the other day at school and they let me know how you were holding strong. Tell Katie to come visit me – her locker is right outside my classroom. Take good care and hugs to your mom and dad.
Love, The Corrigans
p.s. I thought of you when I read this… “Your three best doctors are faith, time, and patience.”

Dear Whiting family,
Thank you so much for your updates. I so can understand the waiting process. My mother was in the hospital a couple of years ago and our whole family camped out in the ICU waiting room for days. I almost passed out when I saw my mother right after surgery. I found it difficult not to “take on” her pain. But she got better and so will Kevin. Kevin has youth on his side and don’t we know how badly his body WANTS to heal it’self? Those little youthful bodies heal very well.
We are remembering you all in our prayers everyday. “Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1 Keep the Faith!
Holding you up in prayer from Durango!
