Woof : ) ! Yeah, Kevin. . . the surgery is over. I miss you. Mom laughed at me today when I “walked a mile” pooping. She thinks she very funny when she brings that up. I ignore her because that’s a joke between you and me.
Grandma Vic told me that you have my twin brother. I can’t wait to meet him. Does he have Super Hero powers like me?
My fur is growing. My beard is coming back, too. Soon, I’ll be like Mr. Twit in that Roald Dahl book and I’ll be able to keep snacks in my beard.
Mom almost got me a big younger brother. She met an 8-week-old Golden Doodle. But, when we talked it over, she realized that, with my Super Powers, this house can only handle one.
Oh, mom is loving TMIS. She likes all the teachers and students, but can’t wait to start seeing you there.
I asked mom to take me to the hospital to see you, but she said they don’t allow dogs. I told her that if she puts me in my stroller and covers the mesh with a blanket, they’ll never know that I’m not a baby. I know what you’re thinking, but the stroller is actually very manly. Batman has the Batmobile and I have the stroller. Seriously, without it, I couldn’t go to Cafe Sabor and Hapa Grill. Stop laughing. It’s not really a bad gig, you know. . . when I don’t feel like walking, I look up and mom scoops me into her arms and carries me or puts me in the stroller.
I trained her pretty well, don’t you think?

We are glad to hear that everything is going well. Whew!…the hard part is over and each new day brings you closer to full recovery. Pretty soon this will all be behind you.
We enjoyed having your dad and Phil out for a visit earlier this month. You’re next bud! You are going to have to out-do your brother on the wake board. He did great…a few falls, but he always got back up on the board. Can’t wait to get you behind the boat! You will also have to go through the raw oyster ritual…a little lemon, a little cocktail sauce and slurp it down…mmmm!! Bet your thinking your IV diet is better than that!
We look forward to hearing more good news on your recovery. We are thinking about you and your family every day and sending lots of prayers your way. Keep the faith buddy!!
Lots of love,
Kathy, Terry and the Swenson and Huffer clans
