Kevin: Way to go, buddy. Sounds like you did just great. Aaron, Lex and I (and a lot of other people, too) were thinking about you yesterday.
We know you probably don’t feel too well right now, but it’s great that you are now all set to get back to that great life of yours with soccer and everything. Good luck with your recovery.
Hang in there, and we’ll keep sending good thoughts your way.

Thank you Vicki for the surgery update! We have been thinking about Kevin, yourself, Jeff, Phil and Kate so much the past few days!
Kevin you are now on the road to recovery and will be back on the soccer field before you know it! We send our strength to you over the next few weeks and wish for a speedy recovery. Vicki and Jeff we also send you our love and strength for being there for your son and the love and support you continue to give him!
We love you all, Svea, Rob, Stefan and Kirstin

WOOHOO Kevin!! I was just reading an article in a fav magazine and one phrase made me think of you guys. “Life is a journey, not a destination”. Thank God for that!! Why we are sent on the journey, along the path we are is beyond my realm of thinking, but it is just that, a journey TO a destination. Some of us have a crappier journey than others, but, there is a reason not to be questioned, but simply taken.
You are in our thoughts and prayers. Katie, can I be the first to wish you a happy birthday?!? Ok, so I cheated and did it early.
Take care, the White-Hamrick gang.

Hey you guys…great news that Kevin’s surgery went well. We are all pulling for the dude and can’t wait to see him on the soccer field again! ALL of you are in our thoughts and prayers. Let us know when Kev can have visitors and Joey will come down to play video games or whatever.

Jeff and Vicki,
Scotty Mac has kept me updated on the families journey. I am so glad that you have found the issue and resolved it. My best to all of you on your road to recovery. My thoughts and prayers are with you and I hope that the soccer fields are blessed with all of you soon.

Kevin, it’s easy for us to say “be brave” but no one but you can really know how very hard it is and how at times you are scared. It is so normal for you to feel that way. Then you say to yourself, I have my mom and dad, sister and big brother supporting and loving me and that makes it a bit easier. Next, you think of the rest of your extended family like Grammie, Papa and others and many friends who are saying prayers and sending waves of good wishes and that makes it a bit easier yet.
We too are sending our love and support. If only we could be there to give you hugs too!! You are on the road to recovery now and that is such a good thing.

Wow! What a story. You have been such a wonderful support to me during this last year with my chaos. I’m sorry that you are in need again, but know that I am here thinking of all of you and I am more than happy and willing to provide you with whatever I can. I am thrilled that Kevin came through the surgery well, and I am looking forward to know where Phillip chooses to go to school. I’ll see if I can find my fellow Thespian, Katie, today to wish her a happy birthday. I look forward to seeing your smiling face in our hallways again very soon:)

Dear Vicki, Kevin and Family,
I just found out about Kevin’s surgery and I hope all is going well and you all are on the road to recovery. If I see Katie in the halls of school today, I will give her a Happy Birthday Hello.
